Irradiation cross-linked low-smoke halogen-free flame retarded polyolefin wire & cable materials are environmental products whose flame retardants are. The materials have excellent mechanical, electrical and processing properties, high flame retardance (UL***1 FT*2). Compounds do not emit halogen acid and produce very low gases, and low smoke under fire condition. The compoundsalsofully meet the requirements of UL***5, UL***6 and the standards of RoHS, SVHC, PFOS&PFOA, *6P, Halogen-free, PAHS.

Material preparation
To ensure trouble free processing and high quality injection molded parts it is preferable to dry the compounds before use. The recommended drying conditions are **4 hours at *0℃ in the dryer.

Suggested irradiation dose: ****4 Mrad

Equipment
Use the special screw for halogen-free materials, the screw compression ratio: 1.8~2.5, L/D: *8:1~*5:1;

Packing and Storage: *5kgs/package. Transportation should be based on general chemical regulation. Keep it dry and avoid direct sunlight.

Remarks:

1.Exhaust the materials after adjust the temperature or shutdown the machine, to avoid the decomposition of materials.

2. The processing results can be affected by the extrusion machines, irradiation machines and the structures of wire & cable; so the above laboratory test data are just for reference only; it’s not a formal quality assurance.
